Hi Matt, I just found this tutorial and it’s great. I was also wondering if you know of a way to get the background to extend to the bottom of the page. I have a 3 column layout, with two sidebars – one on each side.

Great tutorial. I just implemented the sidebar background on my site, but I notice the background ends where the widgets end. Is there a way to get it to extend to the bottom of the page?

hey Matt!
Thanx for the excellent tutorial! I’m not a big code person – a moderate understanding. If i want to color my backgrounds for both sidebars do I do two separate entries the second with a “.custom #sidebar_2″ designation? And while I’m here – is there a way to color the background of my comments section different from my page background and different from my sidebar backgrounds? I am using thesis and thesis hooks latest versions. Thank you!!!! Keep up the great work!
